Jose Torres
Jose Torres is the founder of Moonveil Legal, P.C. He is a proud first-generation college and law school graduate, a journey shaped by resilience, determination, and a deep understanding of the challenges many individuals in difficult circumstances face.
Before becoming an attorney, Jose worked as an agricultural laborer. That experience instilled in him the value of hard work and gave him a unique perspective on the sacrifices and struggles within immigrant communities. This foundation continues to drive his commitment to serve with compassion, respect, and integrity.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in History from San Diego State University and later graduated from California Western School of Law.
At Moonveil Legal, P.C., Jose’s mission is to guide individuals and families through the complexities of the U.S. legal system. As a first-generation professional, he understands what it means to break barriers and create opportunities for future generations. His goal is to help clients achieve stability, security, and a brighter future in the United States.

Jose Antonio Brambila
Jose Antonio Brambila is a Mexican-American lawyer from San Diego, CA. Born and mostly raised in Southern California, Jose spent part of his early childhood living in Mexico and eventually moved to San Diego with his parents and sister. Jose earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University and subsequently a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law with a concentration in Criminal Litigation.
During his time at USD, Jose found his calling while interning with the American Bar Association’s Immigration Justice Project. After taking the bar exam, Jose accepted a Law Fellow position with IJP and eventually became a Staff Attorney and Program Manager for the organization’s Immigration Court Helpdesk program. WIth the ICH program, Jose and IJP assisted hundreds of unrepresented respondents with legal orientation and referrals for representation while also representing dozens of families and individuals in Immigration Court. Now, Jose is a proud member of the team here at Moonveil where he continues to fiercely advocate on behalf of our migrant communities.

Lanie Mainar
Lanie Mainar serves as the Marketing and Operations Coordinator at Moonveil Legal, P.C., where she supports the firm’s growth, client communication, and internal operations. Her work bridges strategy and structure, ensuring that both the firm’s digital presence and case systems operate with clarity and efficiency.
With a background in digital marketing and administrative coordination, she oversees content strategy, brand development, and internal workflow organization while supporting the attorneys behind the scenes. Her role focuses on ensuring that the firm’s marketing presence and case operations remain structured, consistent, and aligned.

Marketing and Operations Coordinator
